HTC 7 Trophy defect reported - mass recall on the cards?

Some HTC 7 Trophy owners are complaining of apparant streaks appearing on the Super LCD screens of their handset. This would actually seem to be bubbles between different layers of the Trophy display. There are a couple of users over at XDA-Developers have reported the defect so far which is likely to increase over the time. One of the reason could be that top-most layer of glass didn't properly bond with the part underneath, possibly due to defective adhesive. Enak, the thread starter returned to the purchase location and checked thoroughly a new batch of Trophy handsets that just came in and the streaks were visible on those as well. The manager then reportedly told him that HTC was aware of the problem and would be "issuing a mass recall." The HTC 7 Trophy is plagued with screens exhibiting poor viewing angles and loads slower then the Samsung Omnia 7 earlier and this does not bode well for HTC. For those who already have the HTC 7 Trophy, please check if you have this issue and revert back if possible.
